Episode 1: A robbery-murder occurs at a residential home where Sumi Sara (Sumida Moeno) survives while her parents are shot dead. Detective Sakuraba (Maeda Atsuko) from the First Investigation Division takes her into protective custody. Meanwhile, Detective Zenigata, who was at the hospital for a routine medical checkup…

Episode 2: Detective Zenigata and Detective Sakuraba witness a man being pushed from a moving vehicle one night. The next morning, a masked group calling themselves “Docromanon Five” uploads footage of the assault to a video-sharing platform…

Episode 3: During a financial seminar where Detective Zenigata is attending training, a man covered in explosives storms the venue, taking Zenigata and other seminar participants hostage in a tense standoff!

Episode 4: Shiraishi Toshiaki (Fukushi Seiji), a surgeon at a university hospital, is murdered by an unknown assailant. The first person to discover the body is fellow surgeon Akikawa Haruka (Maiko), who is revealed to be Detective Zenigata’s former girlfriend…

A famous painting is stolen from an art museum. At the crime scene, a message from Lupin III reading “I’ve taken the treasure” is left behind, and a security guard’s body is discovered. As Metropolitan Police detectives eagerly pursue Lupin III’s arrest, Zenigata from the International Investigation Division, who has been chasing Lupin for years, appears before them.

Zenigata declares that the culprit of this case is not Lupin and begins his investigation alongside Metropolitan Police Criminal Investigation Division detectives Natsuki and Kunigida. Through Zenigata’s characteristic methodical crime scene analysis, they work to identify the real perpetrator. However, Natsuki and Kunigida find themselves constantly overwhelmed by Zenigata’s unique investigation methods.

Later, a doll marked “Mr. Q” and a card are delivered to the Metropolitan Police Criminal Investigation Division. Soon after, a person calling himself “Mister Question” phones them. He declares he wants to “compete intellectually with the police” and presents a quiz. An explosion occurs exactly as predicted by the quiz answer. Furthermore, Mr. Question announces that bombs are still planted somewhere in Tokyo.

Zenigata and his team race against time to prevent explosions at various locations throughout Tokyo, following the clues from Mister Question’s quiz challenges…!

Detective Zenigata (Suzuki Ryohei) investigates the murder of his university senior, scientist Kurashina (Hamada Manabu). After pleading with Superintendent Jogasaki (Watanabe Ikkei) to join the investigation, Zenigata begins working with Detective Kunikioda (Miura Takahiro). Meanwhile, Public Security Officer Abe (Watabe Atsuro) covertly investigates the case. Soon, a suspect emerges – a man stalking Kurashina’s girlfriend Miki (Ashina Sei). However, the suspect dies after being struck by a car. Unsatisfied with this conclusion, Zenigata discovers a discrepancy in the investigation files and takes action…
