I can’t believe that’s it’s almost our third year of running this site. I feel like it’s been a lot longer! We did take a while to launch the site, which was probably 2-3 years? I never thought it would launch.

Based on this post that I wrote a month after launching, here’s some stats from 2022:

Stats from 2022, our first month after launch

  • Total Registered Users: 488!!
  • Total Subscribers: 427!!
  • Total Contributors: 55!!
  • Total Drama pages created: 1487!!
  • Total Movie pages created: 232!!
  • Total Special pages created: 76!!
  • Total People (actors, actresses, etc) added: 1745!!
  • Total Subtitle Provider pages added: 63!!
  • Total Subtitle Projects added: 474!!

  • Total Registered Users: 8066
  • Total Subscribers: 7776
  • Total Contributors: 125
  • Total Drama pages created: 3192
  • Total Movie pages created: 983
  • Total Special pages created: 558
  • Total People (actors, actresses, etc) added: 14,665
  • Total Subtitle Provider pages added: 249
  • Total Subtitle Projects added: 3406

Major Features We’ve Pushed Out

(forgot to do this for our 2nd anniversary? lol)

  • Watchlists: Keep track of your watch history.
  • Custom Lists: Create lists of people, dramas, movies, etc and add notes.
  • Updated Subtitles Index (rebranded as Treasure Island)
  • Advanced Search: Filter down and search for what you need.
  • Forever Lonely: Adopt a title to add subtitles to it.
  • Reviews: Add reviews for titles you’ve watched.
  • Request Subtitles: Vote for titles you want to see subbed.
  • Comment history: A centralized place for all your comments.
  • Series: Relate multiple seasons and movies.
  • Episodes Tab: More details and images for a specific episode.
  • Oshi Spots: Locations of where drama/movie scenes are shot. Map feature coming later.

These numbers are tremendous and we’d like to thank the community, volunteers, and staff that have all contributed to our tremendous growth.

Anniversary Surprise!

To celebrate our third anniversary, we will open up registrations for a limited time. Look for the Google form link somewhere on the site.

You will need a Gmail account to fill out the form.
You only get one chance, no multiple requests.
The form is part quiz and scavenger hunt.
You will need to record a 2-5 minute audio or video self-intro in English (more details on the form).
A score of 12+ will only be considered (this score is subject to change).
