Synopsis

Hanazawa Taro is a policeman with with a body weight of 110 kg and works in a police box in the beautiful city of Kyoto. He has a really sharp perception, which allows him to smoothly deal with the various problems of the local residents as well as the tourists. Taro’s ability is highly valued by section chief Nishikiori Reiko of Kyoto Prefectural Police’s First Investigation Division and so she makes him her ‘assistant detective’ of some sort. His sharp perception isn’t his only outstanding feature. Taro easily grabs the hearts of the people around him, can be quite thickheaded and is very determined when it comes to solving a case.
