Reversal Orchestra

Takioka Hatsune (Kadowaki Mugi) is a city hall employee who was once a violinist prodigy as a child, but left the stage 10 years prior for unknown reasons. Despite wanting to continue playing the violin as a personal hobby, she is suddenly scouted by the coercive maestro Tokiwa Asahi (Tanaka Kei) to become the concertmaster in the struggling Kodama Symphony Orchestra. The script is penned by Shimizu Yukako, known for her drama “Saiai” among other works.

This is a Hulu Original spin-off of Reversal Orchestra. “Behind Orchestra” depicts the love lives of Tamakyo (Kodama Symphony Orchestra) members.

The first episode tells the story of Sasaki Reo, a passionate and lovesick cellist and Fujitani Yoji, a blunt but gentle timpanist who got married on episode 8 of the main series. The second episode tells the story of Onoda, Doi and even Asahi are giving love advice to Kanna, who secretly has feelings for Aoi. The third episode, a new couple may be born?!
