Metamorphosis no Engawa

Urara (Ashida Mana) is a 17 year old high schooler without friends, making the BL manga she secretly reads every night one of her greatest joys. Then there’s Yuki (Miyamoto Nobuko), a 75 year old widow who enters the bookstore where Urara works. Finding the cover pretty, she picks up none other than a BL manga and becomes completely fascinated by the unfolding love story it tells. For Yuki and Urara, this is just the beginning of an unlikely friendship transcending their 58-year age gap.

Childhood friends Yuma Minase and Sakura Asakura have been together through elementary school, junior high school, and high school. Sakura has always felt something for Yuma that he could never say to him. In their final summer of high school, Sakura confesses his feelings to Yuma and kisses him.
