About Kizara Izumi

“Kizara Izumi” is the joint husband-wife screenwriting duo Izumi Tsutomu and Mega Tokiko. Initially used as Izumi’s own pen name, it expanded to include Mega after the two paired up to work on the drama Yappari, Neko ga Suki.

In 2004, after completing his work on Suika, Izumi experienced a cerebral hemorrhage. Requiring extensive care, he’s lived with Mega Tokiko who took on the role of his caregiver. The two later married in 2007.
