Synopsis

Saijo (Kamio Fuju) has the peculiar ability to see the sparkle of a woman in love, but on one particular day as he goes about his college-life business — entirely unconcerned about falling in love — cupid’s arrow strikes when he meets bookworm Shinonome (Taira Yuna), who’s curious about what love is. As the two start an exchange diary on the topic, the sight of them causes anguish for Saijo’s childhood friend, Kitashiro (Nishino Nanase), who can’t shake a one-sided love. Then there’s Yadorigi (Baba Fumika), a woman with a bad habit of trying to snatch other people’s lovers. Armed with a strong approach, she has her sights set on Saijo and zeroes in after mistaking him as Kitashiro’s boyfriend. A love-square soon takes shape, each wondering what love is—something that has plagued humankind for millennia. Will they crack the mystery? And what trajectory will their own love lives take?
