Synopsis

Set against the dark underside of the Japanese entertainment industry, this work is a yandere-style romantic suspense that depicts the twisted relationship between a popular actor harboring inner darkness and a struggling idol just starting out.
 

The idol Minase Ama, who continues her activities while enduring harassment from those around her, is unexpectedly given the chance to serve as a stand-in for a drama starring actor Hosho Chiaki, whom she meets by chance. After his delinquent friends challenge him to a bet asking whether he can “bring Ama down,” Chiaki approaches her as a prank, but he is gradually drawn to her innocence, and eventually his feelings cross the boundary between love and obsession.
