Synopsis

Matori to Kyoken is an action-packed entertainment drama that delves into the shadowy underworld of drug contamination. The story unfolds after an incident at a Roppongi club where a customer who overdosed on cocaine stabs a waiter before dying himself. The person who sold the drugs to this customer was Umezawa Kyonosuke, a former child star turned drug dealer who had fallen from grace.
 
Investigating this case is Kurosaki Toru, a narcotics control officer who possesses an almost obsessive determination when it comes to fighting drugs.
Umezawa is first caught by Kurosaki Tōru, an obsessive narcotics control officer (Matori) who forces him to become an informant. He’s then arrested by Katsuragi Akito, an Assistant Inspector from Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Narcotics and Firearms Division, who also demands he spy for the police. Caught between both forces, Umezawa must navigate the dangerous position of serving two masters in the criminal underworld.
