Synopsis

Himura Mayumi works as a public relations officer at a large apparel company. Though she was once popular with the men in college, she doesn’t have a current partner, and seeing those around her getting married, she assumes that she too will be able to marry. However, when she seeks marriage in an attempt to evade a demotion at work, she doesn’t get the results she was hoping for and ends up feeling very frustrated.

Ful-time housewife Jinno Yukari is married to a high-spec doctor and lives within a wealthy neighborhood. However, she feels lonely because she can’t conceive, is treated like a maid by her husband, and has nobody around her to confide in.

Kumazawa Riko is a rookie detective who has just been assigned to the Criminal Affairs Division. She has a strong sense of justice and is full of motivation despite her lack of experience. She tends to fret due to her sense of responsibility, and is secretly longing to experience ordinary happiness.

These three women of different backgrounds seem to have no connection until the disappearance of one woman leads their lives in unexpected directions…
