Season 2 of Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto.
Based on the manga by Kinoshita Keiko, this romantic drama follows the love story of two men in their thirties who struggle to be as honest with their feelings as they once were.
Set two years after the events of the first season, the story reunites Miyata and Iwanaga in the second year of their life together. After a long journey, they have finally found the ideal relationship they had always been searching for and are enjoying their happiness. Yet while Miyata feels that the distance between them has never been smaller, he also realizes there is still so much he doesn’t know about Iwanaga.
Although Iwanaga says he would rather not talk about his past relationships, Miyata can’t help but dwell on the glimpses of an unfamiliar past that seem to surface in Iwanaga’s casual words and subtle gestures. Then, during a magazine interview, Iwanaga unexpectedly reveals, “I’ve found someone important.” The confession prompts Iwanaga’s ex-boyfriends to reappear, quietly shaking the foundation of the couple’s second chance at love.
