Synopsis

This drama is based on award-winning novel Oshi no Satsujin, which won the Grand Prize in the Takarajimasha Kono Mystery ga Sugoi! Bunko Awards. The TV adaptation expands the story with original elements, unfolding on a large scale across 13 episodes.
 
The story follows Baby★Starlight, a struggling three-girl idol group based in Osaka, who are bound by the unforgivable shared crime of covering up a murder, yet despite this vow to conceal the truth and continue performing on stage. As they face one crisis after another, their harrowing pasts come to light, and they are drawn into the chilling case of an “unsolved serial murder.”
