Jigoku de Enzai: Yamane Kohei is working in an empty office late at night when he hears a voice across the room proclaiming “I’m innocent! I was falsely accused!” The owner of the voice is Mikumo Ichiro, who was supposedly executed a few days before for murder. He declares his innocence as a false charge and says he is being tried in hell. He desperately pleads that if he cannot prove his innocence in hell, he will suffer there forever. Although he is in disbelief, Yamane decides to defend Mikumo in order to prove his innocence, and as they investigate the incident, shocking facts come to light.
