Synopsis

One year after overcoming trauma, Dr. Sakuraba Mio (Kawaei Rina) serves as both top surgeon and dedicated nurse aide at Seirei University Hospital. Working alongside the talented Dr. Minegishi Kotetsu (Chiba Yudai), she excels in complex surgeries while providing compassionate patient care. However, their growing closeness sparks dating rumors, complicated by the sudden return of Mio’s former partner, Dr. Ryuzaki Taiga (Takasugi Mahiro).
The hospital faces new challenges following the death of Professor Higami, creator of the experimental OHMS system designed to combat the fatal “Symmnes” disease. The new department head, Dr. Usui Yuri, opposes Mio’s dual role and seeks to reshape the department, while Higami’s daughter Reika harbors suspicions about Usui’s past.
When young Sawamura Maika is admitted with “Symmnes”, Mio battles to save both her life and spirit. Stretched thin between caring for Maika, managing VIP patients, and training for the incomplete OHMS system, Mio pushes herself to the breaking point. Just as she reaches her limit, Taiga makes an unexpected return, setting the stage for an emotional reunion that could change everything.
