Synopsis

Oishi Hisako is an ordinary teacher on an island, and the film depicts the 20 years from her first encounter with 12 new first-year students. She continues to deal with the children, despite her own helplessness and the times in which she finds herself.

Hisako herself is also at the mercy of the times, but she continues to face her children. Her only wish is a modest and natural one: that they will all be happy.
