Synopsis

A daughter of a powerful politician is found murdered. Her body is discovered wearing a white dress stained deep red with blood, with tape covering her mouth. The brutal method closely resembles the crimes committed by a serial killer who was believed to have died three years earlier. Convinced that the same murderer is responsible, the investigation’s commanding officer summons former First Investigation Division detective Gunji Kosuke.
Once known as an ace detective, Gunji Kosuke led the department not only in arrests but also in the number of problems he caused. However, after being stabbed by a suspect during an investigation, he was transferred to the Community Safety Division at a local precinct. Now living life in a wheelchair, Gunji asks Akutsu Karu, a financial investigator from the Second Investigation Division whom he happens to meet, to assist him with the case.
For Karu, who has ASD and struggles with social interaction, Gunji is the worst possible match. But as the two work together on the investigation, their relationship towards one another gradually begins to change…
