Synopsis

This work-related human comedy depicts the behind-the-scenes production of a nature program. Based on a hugely popular nature program that began broadcasting in 2006. (Darwin’s Amazing Animals).
Haruka is a new employee at a TV production company. She is a sports-oriented person who loves teamwork. Originally aspiring to be a sports documentary filmmaker, somehow she ended up being assigned to the nature club, and now leads a hectic life. In the midst of all this, she ends up working alongside eccentric wildlife otaku Daichi, who together are responsible for filming the elusive wild Japanese hare, said to be a myth. Together with veteran cameraman Takano, the three head to the mountains and start filming while lodging at the home of local residents Fusae, and her grandson Keita. However, it is exceedingly difficult to find this elusive hare, and the two struggle to get along due to contrasting personalities. Furthermore, Fusae who is supposed to be knowledgeable about hares, is unexpectedly uncooperative with the location shooting, and the filming comes to a standstill. Eventually, Haruka begins to understand Daichi’s passion for living creatures, and learns about Fusae’s decades-long connection to nature.
