Synopsis

New Years Day Special that follows Aibou Season 23.

“The Last Day” is a real-time suspense drama set in a television station on New Year’s Eve. In this episode, the 4-year-old daughter of Hiyama, a nationally renowned news anchor is kidnapped by an unknown person. While he had previously received harassment after criticizing “Jōker,” an organization affiliated with anti-social groups, and initially suspected them of being behind the incident, the kidnapper instead sends instructions to “continue hosting the live broadcast as scheduled.” However, as the broadcast progresses, the perpetrator demands that Hiyama confess a secret he has kept hidden in front of the cameras.
