This series is a socially conscious police detective drama featuring an entirely original story that realistically portrays the pride, clashes, and inner struggles between the Public Relations officers and frontline detectives. The concept was developed by former Metropolitan Police Department and news reporters, bringing authentic insight into both sides of crime and media.
 
The drama follows Imaizumi Rintaro (Fukushi Sota), who joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department with the goal of becoming a detective in the elite First Investigation Division. However, he is unexpectedly transferred to the Public Relations Division 2, which handles media communications. There he struggles to solve cases from a PR standpoint, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how the media operates when major incidents occur.
Joining him is Ando Naoshi (Ogata Naoto), a former First Investigation Division detective who now serves as the head of Public Relations Division 2. Though he may seem a bit absent-minded at first glance, he’s actually a sharp and resourceful officer who quietly supports Imaizumi after his transfer. However, Ando also harbors a hidden past connected to an unsolved case.

Season 2.
 
During a campaign speech for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election, a shocking incident unfolds when National Public Safety Commission Chairman Katsuragi is stabbed by a young man named Marui. In the wake of the attack, Imaizumi Rintaro and Ando Naoji of Public Relations Division Section 2 are suddenly thrust into handling intense media scrutiny surrounding the high-profile case.
