Shiawase na Kekkon

Abe Sadao portrays a popular lawyer who has won numerous high-profile, sensational court cases resulting in acquittals. He appears on television programs and enjoys overwhelming support from household viewers. Having avoided marriage to prevent interference with his work, he suddenly experiences a fateful encounter… and promptly abandons the “bachelorhood principle” he had stubbornly maintained for 50 years! However, after their whirlwind marriage, a major secret harbored by his beloved wife comes to light. Will he be able to continue loving his wife even after discovering her secret…!?

Just like the main series, the spinoff of Shiawase na Kekkon (A Happy Marriage) is scripted by Oishi, and centers on the pre-wedding story of Kotaro and Nella, who first met by fate in a hospital elevator. One day, Leo (Itagaki Rihito) visits his sister Nella’s home only to find a strange man (Kotaro) relaxing in a bathrobe. Since Nella doesn’t supposedly have a boyfriend, Leo is stunned and mistakes him for an intruder. The spinoff comedically portrays Kotaro’s first chaotic encounter with Nella’s panicked family, who rush to deal with the “suspicious” visitor.
