Season 2 is set just ten days after the events of the first season.

Aoba Ippei is a police officer who works as a handler in the Police Dog Section of the Forensic Division. For some reason, his partner, a police dog named Oliver, looks like a man in a costume. Together with Oliver, (who is lazy and suffers with chronic rhinitis), they take on a series of inexplicable cases.

Prior to the broadcast of Season 2, a short special edition will be aired that will include more than 20 minutes of unseen footage that was excluded from the broadcast last year.

This is a movie version of the NHK drama that followed Aoba Ippei and his dog police buddy Oliver, who appears to him as an old man in a dog costume who loves women, cigarettes and alcohol. Together they tackle a series of mysterious cases.
