HiGH&LOW〜THE STORY OF S.W.O.R.D.〜

A town once dominated by Mugen was split into 5 different districts, each controlled by 5 rival gangs: Sannoh Rangokai, White Rascals, Oya Kohkoh, Rude Boys and Daruma Ikka. The town began to be known as the S.W.O.R.D area, where each gang continue to fight for their pride and glory, but before long yakuza organization Kuryu Group attempt to take their own control of it. There’s also the appearance of Mighty Warriors, a mysterious new gang in town who have their own agenda.

In the second season, the Mighty Warriors begin to make their move, and cause turmoil and chaos among the teams of S.W.O.R.D. Episodes 1-4 focus on the past, unveiling the origin of the Mugen gang.

Picking up where the 2nd season of High&Low left off, Kohaku, former leader of Mugen, is now on Kuryu Group’s side after being approached by a mafia from South Korea. In order to stop Kohaku, who Mighty Warriors and DOUBT are aiding, the 5 SWORD gangs have to put aside their own pride to unite and save their neighborhoods, and find unlikely allies in the Amamiya Brothers.

Having lost their parents when they were young, the three Amamiya brothers have been exceptionally close. A year ago, the oldest brother, Takeru, suddenly disappeared, and one of the reasons Masaki and Hiroto ventured into SWORD was to try and find him.

Expecting him to show up at their family tomb on the anniversary of the death of their parents, they instead meet Naruse Aika, who holds clues to Takeru’s whereabouts. As they follow the clues to find Takeru, their mission to find their brother quickly overlaps with the mission to save SWORD.

Dan, Tettsu, and Chiharu have dinner together

Even after being defeated during the warehouse fight, Kuryu has not given up on their idea of building a casino in the SWORD area. Cobra suggests that the gangs stay as a united front, but with Smokey’s health rapidly declining, and Rocky refusing, the alliance fails.

Kuryu gets DOUBT’s leader Ranmaru released from prison, who Rocky has a feud with. Kuryu also released the main players from the Prison gang, to aid DOUBT’s attack on the Rascals. Cobra offers to help, but Rocky refuses.

After gaining proof of politicians taking bribes from Kuryu, the Amamiyas give the USB to Kohaku, and plan to publish it online.

White Rascals head to an abandoned train station to end their feud with DOUBT, and the rest of SWORD come to their aid. At the same time, the Amamiyas, Kohaku and Tsukumo are attacked by Kuryu’s killer, Kuki Genji.

In the final installment, Kuryu beings to flaunt their true power. Even though the USB with confidential information is released, the president of Kuryu is soon released due to insufficient evidence. All the SWORD gangs begin to see their bases destroyed in some way, and Cobra goes to confront Kuryu on his own but ends up captured and tortured.

Kuryu begins destroying Nameless City, with help from the government. SWORD finds out Nameless City is ground zero for a cover-up, and in limited time, begins trying to gather evidence to end Kuryu and the corrupt politicians once and for all. Will SWORD and their allies complete their final mission?

Dan, Tettsu, and Chiharu (collectively known as DTC), exhausted from running through exciting days of exposing even national cover-ups, set off on a journey on their motorcycles without even deciding where to go in search of their throbbing hearts and youth (and girls)!

Takes place after the first High&Low Movie.

Fujio and Tsukasa were new students at Oya High, but Fujio transfers out after a short time to take care of his ailing grandfather in the countryside. With the Fujio/Tsukasa faction out of the race, other full-time factions fight each other to become the new leader of Oya High.

The street fighters of Oya High go up against the delinquent brawlers of Housen Academy in this action-packed “High & Low” and “Crows” crossover.

The story follows the six childhood friends from the “HOPE HILL Apartment Complex”: Hanaoka Fujio (Kawamura Kazuma), Kirihara Seiji (Shirasu Jin), Oochi Shinya (Nakatsuka Yuta), Oochi Masaya (Komori Hayato), Ishii Madoka (Tomita Miu) and Maekawa Arata (Yano Masato). When the six were still in elementary school, for some reason they buried a time capsule in a shrine near their apartment complex and promised to get together again there 10 years later. Ten years have passed, and Fujio decides to dig out the capsule as he remembers their promise.

However, things suddenly change when Sakata Motoaki (Morisaki Win), a boy who grew up in the same “hopeless apartment complex”, returns to town and asks for Fujio’s whereabouts. Then, tragedy strikes the group of friends when one of them is involved in an accident. The tension rises as the future of the six childhood friends is shrouded in uncertainty.

In the latest work “HiGH&LOW THE WORST X”, Oya High School led by Hanaoka Fujio meets Senomon Technical High School aka “Bloody Gates” whose members all wear crimson uniforms.

To destroy Oya High School, Senomon’s leader Amagai Kohei and Suzaki Ryo form a three-school alliance with Kamasaka High School 【aka Kama High】 and Ebara Commercial High School 【aka Barasho】. The most powerful guys in the SWORD area are planning a relentless “hunt to destroy Oya High School”.
