Daitsuiseki: Keishicho SSBC Kyokohan-gakari

The story in this drama follows the newly established SSBC Violent Crimes Unit, which specializes in supporting the First Investigation Division, and the people connected to it.

Omori Nao plays Igaki Shuji, a mobile analysis officer and former detective who was transferred to SSBC three years ago after a mishap. Proud of making arrests with his own hands, he feels unfulfilled in his current role.

Aiba Masaki stars as Nanami Rintaro, a career-track officer and former investment banker who joins the SSBC. The nephew of a former police commissioner-turned-Chief Cabinet Secretary, Nanami is sharp and excels with numbers. Under Igaki’s guidance, the two grow into a formidable investigative pair.

Matsushita Nao plays Aoyagi Haruka, a senior officer in the First Investigation Division who transferred in as Igaki was forced out. She is also Igaki’s ex-wife, having divorced him four years prior. Though initially bossy toward the SSBC unit, she becomes increasingly frustrated by the unpredictable behavior of Igaki and Nanami.

A new collaborative special drama has been created between the 2025 summer-season TV drama Daitsuiseki: Keishicho SSBC Kyokohan-gakari, which aired in the summer 2025 season with triple leads Omori Nao, Aiba Masaki, and Matsushita Nao, and the popular variety show “Zawatsuku! Friday.”

Set within the SSBC (Specialized Support and Behavioral Analysis Center), an elite analytical and investigative division established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Daitsuiseki follows the activities of the newly formed SSBC Violent Crimes Unit, which handles serious offenses such as murder, robbery, and arson, as well as the people surrounding its members.
 
The new season opens with Nanami Rintaro returning to the SSBC Violent Crimes Unit after completing a study program in the United States. Bringing back the latest digital investigative techniques he learned overseas, Nanami shares his expertise with the team, helping elevate their capabilities to an unprecedented level.
 
Awaiting them are even more formidable and complex criminal cases than those seen in the previous season.
The perpetrators exploit highly encrypted messaging apps and AI-powered deception tactics, their methods evolving with terrifying sophistication.
