Synopsis

For Kamon Village, the nighttime fog imparts a whimsical feel when the residents perform their Takigi Noh ritual, although not too far off in a nearby mountain is a landfill housing stacks of garbage. Part of the waste management is Katayama Yu (Yokohama Ryusei) who works at the disposal facility, hopelessly paying his mother’s debt with meager earnings. For Yu, he has had little choice in life, having grown up in Kamon shouldering the burden of a sin committed by his father. When his childhood friend Misaki (Kuroki Haru) returns from Tokyo, however, the story is about to be shaken up in a very big way…
