Synopsis

Sato Jiro’s manga “Nanashi” is being made into a live action movie in 2026.
 
This film is a psycho-violence thriller that delves into the descent of a “nameless monster” who becomes consumed by senseless killing. The story begins with a brutal murder that takes place in a bustling café on a sunny afternoon. The suspect, a middle-aged man with a shaved head, holds no weapon in his hands, yet everyone he touches collapses, spewing blood one after another.
 
As the police review the security footage, they are left speechless by the shocking scene. Continuing their investigation, they discover that the suspect is the same man who was once questioned years ago on suspicion of shoplifting. His name: Yamada Taro.
When the detectives arrive at the address listed as Yamada’s residence, they find the decomposed body of a woman lying inside.
