Synopsis

One day, Noriko, who runs a remote mountain campsite, is visited unexpectedly by her nephew Yuki, recently released from juvenile detention and searching for his estranged mother. When Noriko calls her brother-in-law, she learns that Yuuki and his stepfather are not on good terms. Offering him a part-time job and a listening ear, Noriko helps Yuki navigate his past and begin to open his heart. However, according to a local resident Noriko struggles to read people’s expressions and values the importance of words. As she says, “Not everyone sees the world the same way,” Yuki gradually begins to open his heart to her.
Their fragile bond is tested when Noriko’s son Kenji arrives with his friends, and jealousy sparks as Yuki connects with Yukari over shared passions for nature and the stars.
Set against the serene backdrop of the mountains, the film explores empathy, understanding, and the power of human connection.
