Synopsis

The film adaptation of Kimishima Kanata’s award-winning novel, recipient of the 12th “Yasei Jidai Literary Award.”

During their freshman year of high school, Sakahira Riku and Mizumura Manami fall into a pool together, causing their minds and bodies to switch places. The two search for a way to return to normal, but remain switched even after 15 years. Riku and Manami experience life’s pivotal moments while in each other’s bodies—college, first love, employment, marriage, childbirth, and the loss of parents. However, in the summer when they were 30 years old, Manami tells Riku, “What if I told you I found a way for us to switch back?”
