Synopsis

The original novel “Kimi ga Saigo ni Nokoshita Uta” that this movie is based on is the second work by Ichijo Misaki who also published “Konya, Sekai kara Kono Koi ga Kietemo.”
 
The story follows Mizushima Haruto, a young man who secretly enjoys writing poetry, and the heroine Toosaka Ayane, who struggles with developmental dyslexia that makes reading and writing difficult, yet possesses remarkable talent in singing and composing music. Their romance unfolds over the course of just ten years.
 
In the film, Haruto, who has always lived quietly to avoid standing out, suddenly finds his hidden poetry discovered by his classmate Ayane. From that moment, his ordinary life begins to change dramatically as the two start spending time together creating songs.
