Synopsis

It has been revealed that the Live Action movie of “Blue Lock” will be released in Summer 2026.
“Blue Lock,” a manga by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Nomura Yusuke, tells the story of 300 high school students gathered from across the nation who engage in a fierce survival competition within the Blue Prison (Blue Lock) to become the world’s greatest striker capable of leading Japan to a Soccer World Cup championship victory.
 
Takahashi Fumiya will take on the role of protagonist Isagi Yoichi. a pragmatic high school student who dreams of becoming the world’s best professional striker. Driven by his dream of becoming Japan’s national team ace and winning the World Cup, he enters the Blue Prison to transform his life. While lacking the exceptional physical abilities of the other 299 participants, his weapons are his superior spatial awareness that allows him to survey the entire pitch and his unwavering determination to pursue goals.
He harbors regret over his decision to pass during a scoring opportunity in the prefectural tournament final. In this project where eliminated participants are permanently stripped of their eligibility to join the Japanese national team under cruel conditions, Yoichi takes on a life-or-death battle.
