Synopsis

After going through a divorce, Rie (Ando Sakura) moves back to her hometown along with her child where she eventually meets her second husband, Daisuke (Kubota Masataka). Together, they build a happy family that grows into a four-member household when their child is born, but fate has a different plan in store when Daisuke’s life is cut short. On the day of his memorial service, Daisuke’s estranged older brother pays a visit, and notices something is off – the man who called himself Daisuke, Rie’s husband, is not his brother. 

Calling on her former attorney, Kido (Tsumabuki Satoshi), she requests a background check on her late husband. As he encounters various people in his chase to hunt down the man’s real identity, he approaches a startling truth, developing mixed emotions along the way.
