Synopsis

Inspired by a newspaper article from 2020 that chronicled the life of a young girl. Born into a dysfunctional family and addicted to drugs, 21 year old Kagawa Anzu is a habitual prostitute living with her grandmother and her hostess mother. Having been beaten by her drunken mother since childhood, she stopped going to school, instead selling her body at the age of 12. After meeting Tatara, a kind-hearted detective, Anzu starts on the road to rehabilitation, and begins looking for a job and a new home with the help of Tatara and his journalist friend. However, the sudden onset of the COVID-19 pandemic caused the three of them to drift apart, each facing loneliness and anxiety.
