This upcoming winter season is filled with a load of CSI, Lie To Me inspired dramas. Like all the other networks, Fuji TV has their bets on the drama, “Control: Hanzai Shinri Sousa” (Criminal Mental Investigation). The synopsis for Control is a little vague but it sounds similar to Galileo which starred Fukuyama Masaharu and Shibasaki Kou without the science.
An overly passionate woman and an overly chill man. Like water and oil, Matsushita Nao plays handsome Segawa Rio a passionate detective with a sense of justice, while Nagumo Jun, played by Fujiki Naohito, is a brilliant and sharp psychology professor with the special ability to analyze human actions and mentality. Kanjani 8′s Yokoyama Yuu is a part of Rio’s police academy.
The cast consists of: Fujiki Naohito, Matsushita Nao, Yokoyama Yuu, Kitamura Yukiya, Usuda Asami, Sato Jiro, Okumura Kae, Katsumura Masanobu, and Izumiya Shigeru.
Control airs in January 2011 on Tuesdays at 9PM.
