Synopsis

Matsumoto Sakae is the owner of a small restaurant located in the back alleys in downtown Osaka, that sells cheap and delicious home-cooked meals. He is friendly to everyone, young and old, man and woman alike. His cozy shop is always teeming with customers. One day, Soga Hisashi, a divorced office worker who transferred from Tokyo to Osaka, visits the restaurant. From that point, Sakae can’t keep his eyes off him and unbeknownst to Soga, sees him as more than just a regular customer.
