Shichinin no Hisho

Synopsis

Mochizuki Chiyo (Kimura Fumino) and Terui Nana (Hirose Alice) are secretaries at the same bank. Along with Hase Fujiko (Nanao), Park Saran (Shim Eun-kyung) and Kazama Miwa (Oshima Yuko) who serve important people in the police, hospital and prefectural government, they are nameless secretaries who adeptly blend in with their respective organisations and stay inconspicuous. While their job is to serve faithfully, they are gathered in secret behind the scenes to help people as a sideline. They deftly handle this sideline by using their skills, confidential information and network to rescue vulnerable members of society who encounter unreasonable things. At times, they get rid of ruthless leaders tainted by money and power. These secretaries and the “shadow man” Ban Keitaro (Eguchi Yosuke) who has become their boss, begin to change a Japanese society full of irrationality.
