Synopsis

A second-year middle school girl has gone missing, with a week passing since her disappearance. As police continue their investigation and search for the girl’s whereabouts, a man and woman are watching this news in a one-room apartment. The individuals in question are the 14-year-old girl herself and a masked man with silver hair. The girl’s body is covered in countless bruises, and her head is wrapped in bandages. Due to domestic violence and school bullying, the girl had lost her will to live. And the masked man, whom the girl calls “Onii-san” (big brother), had also lost his sense of purpose in life.
The girl mockingly laughs at the image of her mother on television, who tearfully pleads, “I just want to see my daughter safe.” When the news reports that police are tracking the girl’s movements, she suggests to “Onii-san”: “Shall we play a game of running away from the oni (demons) like the police and my parents?” She proposes that if they succeed in escaping, she’ll marry “Onii-san,” but if they fail, they’ll die together…
