Synopsis

“Who killed my best friend──?”

 

The protagonist is Fukase Kazuhisa (Fujiwara Tatsuya), 32 years old. Despite graduating from a prestigious university, he has lived an ordinary life that is so unremarkable and boring it’s almost tedious. The story begins when his girlfriend Mihoko (Toda Erika) receives an accusation letter stating, “Fukase Kazuhisa is a murderer.” At that moment, Fukase intuitively realizes that the time has come to confront the death of his best friend Hirosawa Yuki (Koike Teppei), which he had kept sealed deep in his heart.

 

Ten years ago in winter, Hirosawa died in a suspicious accident during a snowboarding trip with his university seminar classmates: Tanihara Yasuo (Ichihara Hayato), Asami Kosuke (Tamamori Yuta), Murai Takaaki (Miura Takahiro), and Murai’s sister Asuka (Kadowaki Mugi). However, this accident harbored a great hidden secret. Accusation letters are also sent to Tanihara, Asami, and Murai, who shared this secret, and incidents begin to strike them one after another. Fukase resolves to confront the truth of the incident from ten years ago to protect the people important to him. What are the hidden crimes and truth from ten years ago, and the identity of the blackmailer──!?
