Synopsis

Kozue, who has always lived a disciplined and serious life, is known for her strong sense of justice and responsibility, allowing her to handle any situation with calm precision. Because of this, she’s earned deep trust from both her supervisors and colleagues.
However, after meeting Kusaka Reiji, a pre-trial detainee charged with armed robbery and murder, her life begins to change dramatically – and eventually, the two embark on the unforgivable act of a “prison break.”
 
The case involving Reiji is assigned to Police Inspector Saeki Yusuke of the Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigation Division. In truth, Reiji is deeply connected to a secret Kozue has been hiding, and Saeki is also someone who knows about her past.
