Synopsis

Ito Kazue plays Miki, who was separated from her mother at age 3 and turned to delinquency, being detained multiple times. After using drumsticks forbidden by her father to break the bones of four yakuza members, she is sent to a juvenile detention center for girls. At 18, Miki faces her father’s death and nearly returns to the delinquent world. However, she realizes that rock drumming, which had been her emotional support, is all she truly has. She attempts to form a world-class rock band with live house employee Akira (Matsumura Yuki) and medical student Kunio (Tsurumi Shingo), who preys on wealthy young women. Through searching for band members, Miki experiences the world of romantic love between men and women, as well as various people’s paths of glory and downfall, leading to her personal growth.
