Synopsis

A sudden notification arrives about the death of a high school classmate. To fulfill the bereaved family’s wishes, Mizuho takes on the task of searching for the deceased’s mysterious “former lover” who remains invisible and untraceable.

 

The story unfolds across two distinct periods: three years ago during high school days, and the present as university students. Through this dual-timeline structure, the drama unfolds the protagonist’s romantic journey and personal growth on multiple levels.

 

The relationship between Narumi and Mizuho started casually and ended just as quietly – a romance-like connection that never fully materialized. Both characters shared similar traits: difficulty gauging proper distance with others and an inability to develop genuine interest in people around them.

 

With Narumi and Mizuho’s romantic development as the vertical axis, and the classmates’ “lover search” as the horizontal axis, this drama delivers an exquisite love suspense that alternately weaves mystery-solving elements with romantic storylines.
