Synopsis

Based on the novel of the same name by Sena Kazuaki, this drama is an academic romantic comedy that explores the struggles of modern relationships through the lens of animal courtship behavior, offering lighthearted insights into finding happiness in love.
 
Shibata Ichiha (Kamishiraishi Moka), who joined a publishing company with dreams of becoming a fashion magazine editor, is devastated to learn on her first day that the magazine she admired has been discontinued. Assigned instead to the lifestyle magazine department, she’s put in charge of launching a romance advice column written by her idol, the model Haizawa Aria. However, the domineering Aria orders Ichiha to write the column as her ghostwriter. To gather ideas, Ichiha visits Shido Tsukasa (Ikuta Toma), an associate professor who studies animal courtship behavior.
