Synopsis

40-year-old Obika Taro (Muro Tsuyoshi) is a single father and a novelist. After his wife Sachiko (Aragaki Yui) died from an illness, he raised their daughter Sakura (Nagano Mei) alone. Father and daughter get along well. Sakura is his precious daughter and has led a sheltered life. Since she only attended all girls’ schools, Obika worries excessively about her entering a coed university and ends up enrolling in the same university. He begins to enjoy campus life for himself. He involves himself in the university’s activities such as seminars, interest groups, drinking sessions, matchmaking parties and cultural festivals, and enjoys his “youth” to the fullest.
