Synopsis

This age-gap romance story explores the “definition of love” through a relationship that falls short of true romance. Motoko (Hashimoto Ai) is studying German literature in graduate school, but having no romantic experience, she finds herself completely unable to connect with her fellow students’ discussions about love. When Professor Sakaki (Tanaka Min) tells the insecure Motoko that “your Japanese is beautiful,” her heart begins to stir with feelings toward Sakaki. Motoko wonders, “Could this emotion be love?” and strives to analyze her feelings. What conclusion will Motoko ultimately reach?
