Synopsis

Moriyama Mikuri (played by Aragaki Yui) and Tsuzaki Hiramasa (played by Hoshino Gen) are “co-managers” of their household workplace. Having both found employment, they’ve established an ideal division of household chores and are living peaceful, happy days together.

At Mikuri’s company, female employees discuss their “pregnancy waiting list.” Then Mikuri discovers she’s pregnant. Though the couple finally decides to officially marry, complications arise over their marriage registration. Hiramasa, confused by Mikuri’s severe morning sickness, ends up complaining that “he’s the one who wants to cry.”

While Hiramasa decides to take paternity leave before an important project, his former colleague Numata (played by Furuta Arata) and others help him through this predicament.

As the couple tries to restructure their living arrangements and household responsibilities, they find themselves overwhelmed by unfamiliar experiences of pregnancy and childcare. Meanwhile, Yuri (played by Ishida Yuriko) also faces a major life transition.

Then, “a certain incident” tears Mikuri and Hiramasa apart, forcing them to spend their days separated. Can they recover their “hug days” once again?
