Synopsis

This is Part 2 of “Nezumi, Edo wo Hashiru,” which originally aired in the “Thursday Historical Drama” slot starting January 2014.

 

Broadcasting as a full 8-episode series under the “Historical Drama” banner. Set in the late Edo period during the Bunka-Bunsei era, when cronyism flourished in politics, commoners struggled with harsh living conditions, and public discontent continued to rise. Against this backdrop, the story depicts the exploits of Nezumi Kozo, who steals from wealthy samurai estates that profit at the expense of the common people, redistributing wealth to help ordinary citizens.
