Synopsis

Futaboshi Yuto is 30 years old. At a young age, he lost both parents to a car accident and has since lived with his grandfather Kozo. To date, Yuto has never worked, only having looked after the two cats, Kuro and Char, that live with his grandfather. In a sad turn of events, Kozo passes away from a stroke, leaving behind Yuto, the cats, and the home.

Among the funeral attendees is Hirose Yumi of Yotsuba Real Estate, who claims to be entrusted with managing Kozo’s real estate. What’s more, almost all of the property must be sold in order to pay for the inheritance tax. Without income, the suggestion is made to remodel the home into a share house in which people can live with cats. For Yuto, however, cats are family—so will tenants and cats be able to coexist…?

While Yuto opts to remodel the home into a share house, the decision comes with stipulations that prevent tenant after tenant from moving in. That is, until Tachibana Osamu appears… Will Yuto’s new life begin?!
