Synopsis

A legendary swordsman who lived through the tumultuous period from the end of the Sengoku era to the Edo period, Miyamoto Musashi overcame human weaknesses to forge his own path. This drama portrays the character of “Musashi” through his romance with Otsu and friendship with Matahachi. Broadcast to commemorate the 50th anniversary of NHK television broadcasting.
