Synopsis

Public security ace Kuraki Naotake suddenly loses his wife Chihiro in a bombing incident that occurs in a busy entertainment district. As he pursues the “real truth” through intense investigation, he becomes entangled with Osugi Ryota, a hard-nosed detective from the First Investigation Division who openly shows his antagonism, and Akeboshi Miki, a mysterious public security officer who was present at the crime scene and harbors secrets of her own. Meanwhile, on the Noto Peninsula, a man named Shintani  is discovered near death. Though his life is saved, he has lost all memory of his past. This gripping police thriller weaves together multiple storylines as personal tragedy drives a relentless search for justice, while the discovery of an amnesiac man adds another layer of mystery to an already complex investigation involving competing law enforcement agencies and hidden agendas.
