Synopsis

Mikami Takashi, a Tokyo University graduate and elite bureaucrat at the Ministry of Education with the intention to “change Japan’s education system,” soon realizes how far the reality is from his idealistic vision. Through a newly established bureaucrat dispatch system, Mikami is assigned to a private high school—effectively a demotions-style personnel transfer. Despite this, he takes the teaching podium, determined to raise his voice from the ground level and reform the system, confronting the existing power structures head-on.
