Synopsis

Eighteen years ago, Kinoshita Ryo (played by Takenouchi Yutaka) and Hoshino Haru (played by Nakatani Miki) became orphans in a water accident and spent their childhood at a children’s care facility on Taketomi Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Reuniting in Tokyo, they fall in love in a classic love story.

Kinoshita, who gives up on becoming a boxer and lives as an outlaw in the city, while Hoshino, who has lived on Taketomi Island all her life and was raised pure and innocent, never having learned to doubt others.

The story depicts these two contrasting individuals as they hurt each other yet come to care for and love one another, interwoven with the friendships of the companions who grew up with them at the facility.
