Synopsis

My Troublesome Fiancé” follows a mismatched office romance between a high-achieving elite employee and a kind-hearted company heiress. Kajiya Shino, a fourth-year PR representative and heiress to the prestigious confectionery maker Kajiya Foods, is engaged to Tachibana Hajime, the company’s top sales performer, through an arranged marriage set up by her father. Despite Tachibana appearing to be the perfect fiancé with his looks, personality, and credentials, Shino grows frustrated as their relationship hasn’t progressed beyond kissing in their three years of engagement. When Hanazawa Yui joins the company as a new hire in the sales department, Shino feels her heart stir as she watches Tachibana mentor and interact with Yui.

“The Diamond Chapter” is a 6-episode drama series. “The Platinum Chapter” which airs on TV Asahi on the 28th March includes a special edited version of the Diamond Chapter along with behind-the-scenes footage and cast interviews.
